This FINA standard swimming pool and aquatic centre were renovated in 2007. This full refurbishment included the repair of the glass windows allowing underwater viewing, replacement of the expansion joints, full tiling and installation of new starting blocks.
This Council swimming pool is 51m long and features both movable and a popup bulkheads allowing the pools to be split to give two 25m swimming pools and with a constant depth throughout of 2m so two games of Water Polo can take place at the same time.
