A high priority for these homeowners was to maximise the available land on the sloping block and to create a usable space for entertaining friends, relaxing and a space for their teenagers to socialise.

The sloping backyard created a perfect situation for an Infinity pool design. However, limited access to the backyard and considerable structural reinforcement made this pool more complex than most. A sandstone retaining wall was constructed to create a level platform and conceals the base of the structure flowing down into the catch basin below.
